Having grown up in a family that was long suffering from the grief of some shocking kindred losses, and grieving with them, I learned many of the shapes of human coping, adaptation, and compartmentalization.
I've come to see, through my own path of healing, and the endeavor to recover from past and recent trauma, that often times what we need most is simply a safe place; a safe and neutral space in which we might learn to surrender and accept the effects of our suffering within the light of patience and compassion.
Trauma has the ability to materialize within our physical and energetic bodies, and massage therapy/ bodywork is the way through which I have most easily discovered and accessed the more guarded and tender parts of my core self.
It is my interest and honor to support others in this way which eases the healing path.
